and I have not been here in a good long while, I suppose I get am distracted too often, with the things of this life.
Since I was last here Isaiah, Justin, Earl, Valerie, have all had a birthday. The anniversary of Jonathan's death has came and gone. I have had another very early miscarriage, this past month, (that was hard, I don't really believe I can carry another baby to term, I doubt I ever get pregnant again, it would be very surprising).
Other things that have happened or not, several court days have came & gone for the boy who killed Jonathan, and so far he is has not had to even go to jail or even as much as have his liscense suspended, (I think at the least he should not be driving, but I suppose it is not up to me not really anyway.)
Earl had not been able to find a job locally so he is in training to learn to drive trucks so maybe he will get hired to do that, if he can stay on the road a lot with no accidents maybe we will be able to get the bills caught up and paid.
Both Earl & I have taken a couple of unintended "vacations" at the local hospitals in this area, That is NOT a good idea in case your wondering, so that is one helpful tip or suggestion for you, stay healthy, if your not healthy get healthy so you don't get great big medical bills that are going to be very hard to pay especially with no insurance.
We did get Jonathans headstone, I think it turned out very well as far as headstones go, I hope I never ever have to go through buying something like that again, that was very hard, and very expensive. But at least that is one bill that is paid, and his funeral bill is paid so I don't have to worry with that, I wish he wasn't dead, but God allowed it so I have to accept that God already knew what was going to happen that day, I don't believe that means I have to be happy about it though.
I suppose God wanted to bring my attention to the family & friends of the person who killed Jonathan so that I could remember to pray for them, maybe no one else has been or something. So I will just pray that they get saved.
Justin completed Basic Training early August, he is in Idaho tonight learning to drive tanks, he will be going overseas, I really am praying that God protects him, and that God is merciful to him, that he does not get maimed or crippled, or killed. Also that God will guide him all through out his life.
Both Justin and Valerie have made professions of faith this year, I am praying that their professions are true professions that they are really saved.
Earl is in either New Orleans or Texas tonight, he may be going on to California, he won't be back until sometime around Thanksgiving maybe later, just depends on when the trainer decides he is ready to switch to his own truck. Hopefully God will keep him safe.
The price of gas went up really high for a while, it is still very high but at least it is starting to come down some. and I am glad.
Daddy got out of prison, he stayed with my sister for awhile but he isn't there now, he is dying with cancer, maybe he will go into remission, I don't know I hope he will get saved before he dies, but I don't know if he will or not. He is very hard hearted, he had said he was saved one time when I asked him, but he doesn't show evidence of that, so that is very sad.
Mother goes to church a lot, but if she is saved she has not grown very much spiritually in my opinion. I hoe she will be saved if she isn't.
My sister is going to have another baby, this baby is due in April, hopefully it will be very healthy and she will have a safe an easy pregnacy & delivery., I think it would be good if mother moved in with her, because I think they get along pretty well. But they both want to be "head of household" or "boss" so it would be hard for them, unless they could learn to get along better in certain areas.
I have started another webstore this past month, but still need to add pictures of the different things I have made.
The news is on, right now and the news reporter just said there are ten million or people unemployed in the United States today, and it will get worse before it gets better. I hope that the economy gets better one of these days, but it is doubtful that will happen in my time. Maybe one day. Unless the rapture comes first..
I miss Jonathan & Justin a lot, I remember one of the last things Jonathan said, when I told him to be careful, he said "why worry, you know I am always careful" and that was true he always was careful, no one who knew him ever dreamed he would be killed the way he was.
Justin is basically grown now, and wants to go his own way, so we are having to learn to be quiet as he makes his own mistakes in life, he has made good choices, & some not so good, it is hard sometimes to know there is really nothing you can do sometimes other than pray. We have had to turn him over to God, he will either turn out fine in time, or he won't. It is his choice, we have tried to the best of our ability to help him to know what is right and what is wrong. Now it is up to him. Hopefully he will do well, and I pray he learns from the mistakes of others so he doesn't have to go make all the same mistakes in his life as others have, & I pray he learns from the mistakes he has made so far, especially in reguards to finances. Hopefully he will learn to budget before he gets married. I have been praying for a number of years now that all of my children would one day find someone to marry, and have very long and happy marriage, & that they would raise their children to know God, serve God, and believe in God, that they would all live for God.
I have been slightly depresses lately but it is because I am in so much pain all the time, I wish I could just not be in so much pain. But I am, maybe as I loose this weight I will feel better.
It is raining tonight, I hope it will not be too cold tomorrow, as I have to go pack up as much of Justins stuff as possible. I hope I can get everything done fairly early tomorrow, so that is done.
I need to get by the mailbox tomorrow also hopefully we will have something other than bills in there.
Well I am doing better in the house keeping area despite the puppies and cats but it is not easy. I need more storage, or less stuff or both.
Well it's very late or very early depending on your perspective of 1 am. And I am tired so I think I will go.
I have so much to do, it is not funny. Maybe I will get done soon.
Hopefully, I will be able to start learning to use the sewing machine soon, if I can I am going to practice making quilts out of all the clothes that no longer fit anyone, but are too raggedy to give away, or that I just don't like. Any really thin worn out clothing I think I will cut into strips and make rugs or chair covers, I think that will be something good to do.

Today is Feb 22, 2008
It has been 9 months today since Jonathan was killed.
His birthday was last week, mine was this past Sunday, both have passed uneventfully. For that I am glad.
I wish that Jonathan had not of gotten killed but he did. So now I just have to trust God allowed that to happen for some kind of reason.
Anyway, I don't want to dwell on that too much, so I will talk about what needs to be done this weekend.
First I need to reclean the bathroom completely. I found a video on youtube that shows how to clean the toilet, so I added that to this blog. Maybe I will email it to the kids or my husband. LOL (That would be sorta funny, maybe they would get the hint that I would rather someone else clean the bathroom this time.)
Okay, so enough of that, it is very late and I need to go to bed.
But since your up at the moment I will give you some ideas to help you as you get your home organized and decluttered. Usually the smallest room in anyone's home is the bathroom.
So this is a good place to start with your cleaning and organizing. Remove everything from the bathroom that you do not intend to keep in the bathroom all the time. (even if you will need to put stuff in a box or basket, then set in another room or outside).
Next you will want to clean everything. I would suggest starting with the toilet and floor around toilet. Clean all parts of the toilet, and the floor all around the toilet, and the walls around the toilet.
Next clean and dry trashcan that sets beside toilet. wash, rinse and dry completely. Then put a fresh bag in the trashcan, set back net to the cleaned toilet.
Next check see if need to put more toilet paper on holder if needed place fresh roll on toilet paper holder.
Okay after the toilet the next place to steralize and clean well is the bathtub, clean it completely.Then dry it with a towel.
Remember to toss any empty shampoo bottles, or other containers. Also discard all used disposable razors.
When tub is clean and dry. Make sure that if you keep shampoo, soaps or body wash in the tub that you have restocked any that were empty.
After doing that close the shower curtain if you have shower curtains.
Next dust down any cobwebs that may be in any corners or along edge of ceiling. Then sweep the floor or vacuum it.
Next clean the countertop, any mirrors and sinks. Then mop and dry floor.
Finally make sure towels and washclothes are clean dry and put away neatly. Also make sure that any personal hygiene items are all stocked.
When all above done bathroom is done. So you can close that door and start on next area.
Note, remember to put nothing in bathroom that will not have its home in the bathroom. Only bathroom supplies stay in bathroom. Not toys, books, dishes, stereo's etc. (the bathroom is too small to safely use as a storage room in most homes in my opinion.)
Well now its late and I need to go to bed.

Feb 8, 2008 (friday)
Well today is the first time I have been back in a while, I just have not felt much like posting. It's getting close to Jonathans birthday he would of been 19 this coming week. I wish he had not been killed but he was. I suspect it was his time to go, so I need to just not dwell on that.
Earl has been fixing the van hopefully he will have that fixed soon.
I discovered I could make toddler size shawls that look really cute so I am going to try to get several of those made up to sell.
I will have to get some picture of those on here. I don't know exactly how to put pictures on here so I have to wait until someone has time to do that for me.
The house is begging to be organized. So I will try to get that done this weekend, hopefully Earl and the boys will get the yard done. Everything is a mess today.
Went to the doctor this past week he thinks it is possible I could have cancer in my thyroid hopefully it is not, but if it is at least it is highly curable. I will know something around May or June on that.
The boys are doing pretty well with their schoolwork except today. Today they have been outside most all day, but it is pretty out today and they needed some fresh air and sunshine.
We can work on their schoolwork a little later.
Justin is at work, he has been doing fairly well so far. He is taking some classes online, and working.
Things in here have piled up a lot but I should be able to get things done soon. At least I hope so.
I need to start exercising and just get healthy I am working on that but it is a slow progress. I suspect that these health problems did not start overnight.
Well I am to try to make a toddler size shawl today to sale. I hope it turns out really well, if it does and I can I will post a picture of it on here.
And one over on my freewebs site so maybe I can sell it. I hope it turns out very well. And I hope it sells. That would be very good.
Hopefully the van will be running again soon because right now its not, it is up on jacks and has been for a couple of weeks now. maybe it will soon be fixed. Then we need to take it to be cleaned.
The seats also need to be fixed or replaced.
Seems like there is always something.
Anyway, helpful idea for today, stay healthy getting sick or just visiting the doctor cost a lot of money I just got a bill for over three thousand dollars. And that is for only one day at the hospital!! High blood pressure is not good, but bills like this are even worse!!!
Things will work out everntually at least I believe they will.
Today is hot, at least I think so. But it will probably be cold tonight.
Stay healthy is the tip of the day. Also if not healthy start getting healthy fast, because you can not even get insurance if your not healthy, (at least not insurance that pays more than enough for a funeral, and that will cost you even more really)
Maybe in a couple of years I will be able to get insurance I want to get enough insurance so that the kids will be taken care of if we happen to die before they become adults.

Snow day, (today is Thursday jan 17. 2008)
Well it snowed today, just a little but now it is turning to mostly ice, so by later this afternoon the snow will most likely be gone.
I did manage to get some photo's of the blankets, one blanket is the one I entered into the fair, that one won third place. I think that was pretty good, considering I had never entered anything before.
Then I also took a photo of the blanket I am working on now, I am thinking that this afagan will be sized about right for a toddler blanket.
Next I need to finish the other afagan I have started, Hopefully I will get that done sometime this week or next.
I also need to redo everything that was done in this house as far as cleaning and organizing since the house is again a big mess. It is very discouraging to clean the house from top to bottom, only to have it undone every single day.
Anyway, besides recleaning the house and crochetting, I am going to try to buy life insurance later today.
I had planned to get my hair fixed today, but I may not have enough time. Maybe I will be able to get that done before long. The hair dresser said it would cost a little over a hundred dollars to get a spiral perm with the length my hair is now.
Hopefully if I can get that it will look nice.
Let's see besides trying to get insurance today, I am also thinking of trying to talk to scotttrades (a brokerage firm,) I would like to try to start investing what money I can so maybe I can start producing income instead of just spending everything up.
Then I also think I would like to just get a website domain of my own so I can add affiliates to that. Also so I can better promote my writing, and crafts. Maybe I will be able to do that.
Well everyone will be back soon so I need to get ready to go.

Today is Wednesday January 16, 2008
Today is Joseph's birthday, he is ten today.
Yesterday, I was unable to get everything done, even with added help, there is just too much stuff in this place in comparison to space.
It would be nice to be able to afford a larger place, but with the amount of spending that goes on around here, a larger place is just not affordable at all.
I did manage to get the bathroom done yesterday, and the boys room mostly done, but that is about it.
I have a very bad headache at the moment so I don't know that I will get a lot of anything done today.
What I think I will do though is go to the bank and get the money to pay several bills, today. Such as the rent for next month, also storage, power, phone, and the insurance bill for the vechicals. I think I may try to get insurance on everyone else too. I don't know if I can or not, but I think it might be wise to get life insurance on the kids and Earl, and me just in case. I don't want to be in the same shape as we were in when Jonathan died ever again.
I am a little sick today with this headache and another problem. So I probably won't get much done in the house today as far as cleaning so I think I will just get ready so I can go pay some bills. I want to pay off a couple more of the smaller bills if I can. Today. Plus all the regular bills for this coming month, such as the rent, storage and insurance. Plus if I can I need to order some angelboxes so we will have some groceries.
Earl is in a bad mood again today, so it is going to be hard to get much of anything done. He is leaving now, so maybe I will at least be able to get a few things done that I need to.
Justin is wanting me to ride with him later today, so he can drive. He still just has his permit, so I will probably have to do that. I believe I just have too many things on my mind that I need to do.
So I am going to try to work on at least one thing at a time each day, today instead of cleaning house, I think I will work on paying bills, ordering angelboxes (if I have not missed the deadline)
and getting everyone ready for church, plus trying to get some pictures made.
I want to try to at least get pictures of the baby afagan I am working on. Plus some pictures from where we go walking. So maybe this evening I can at least get that posted.
I do believe that this site will have a slow start this week, as I get started with everything.
First I need to get everything organized, then a schedule, then I need to work on paying off the bills.
So for todays tip of the day, I would say before deciding to start a blog it is a good idea to at least have a well thought out schedule before starting a blog, plus actually be following that schedule...
Now I need to call about buying some life insurance...
If I can I will post pictures later today, if I can't then it will be another day. Hopefully by the end of this week I will be able to make this into a more helpful site...

Okay, today is Tuesday, January 15,2008
Sometimes it is helpful to know what the date is. And the day of the week for that matter.
I can forget at times, especially as my life is mostly based on cleaning, chores and not a lot else.
I wanted to go find a job today outside the house, but it does not look like that will be possible, it is getting later and later.
Right now I am taking a break as I try to think what to do about the mess all over the house. I have come to the conclusion that we have way too many clothes. There is no place to neatly put everything. At least that I can find at the moment.
Anyway, I'll work on getting this room cleaned up as best as possible and organized. Then I need to disinfect the bathroom, (translation, scrub it with lysol or something like that). The bathroom is really not that bad, I just need to reclean the tub, change the trashbag, then sweep and mop the floor. And make sure the shelves are neat and orderly. Then that's done, that should not take more than fifteen to twenty minutes. (It'll take at least that long because I like to dry the tub and floor after cleaning.) I cleaned the sink, and toilet earlier.
After I get that done I need to get the hallway on this end cleaned and cleared. That should not take but a couple of minutes, it just really needs to be swept, and mopped.
The weather is supposed to turn off bad, so I would like to get the house cleaned up before that happens.
I also need to get the porches cleaned off and make sure there is nothing hanging around outside. (Sometimes trash will get scattered around when it's left in bags on the porch overnight, because of animals.) So I need to check that. Before the weather turns off bad, it is supposed to start raining with a chance of sleet later today, right now it is sunny, but very cold.
I feel like all I ever have to talk about is cleaning but I suppose that is normal as that is what I do a lot of.
Anyway, I am besides cleaning everything in the house today, I want to try to get the afagan I am working on finished. I am making it with RedHeart yarn it is a light pink. I believe it will be very pretty when it's done.
I will be putting that into the sell box, I want to make four pink ones, using the shell stitch, then I want to make four or five baby blue ones using the same stitch. (I would like to try to have maybe twenty baby afagans made by the end of March). Plus a lot of other things.
I am hoping that if I can get enough things made through to the fall that later on this year I will try to sell the things I have made. But first I would like a variety of things made, so I am thinking baby afagans, potholders, dishrags, child's purses, scarves, and if I can get the house straightened up I would like to make some baby quilts too.
Well I need to get started again, I have only made this mess in this room worse because I sat everything or almost everything on the bed. But I had to get everything where I could reach it.
After I get this room finished I will be able to get the other rooms done easier I hope.
If I get done everything I need to today, then tomorrow after I do what cleaning I need to do, I want to try and make some soaps with the kit I bought, it should not be too hard, as it is a melt and pour type soap. I am thinking that that I want to make some decorative soaps to set on the countertop. That everyone can also use.
Well, I am not getting anything done so I need to go, I'll try to come back later, if we have found the camera I'll post pictures of the baby blanket I have made and one of the one I am working on.
We missed our walk this morning but maybe we will go walking this afternoon. I want to make some pictures of the places we go walking we have found some really nice places to go walking.
So tip of the day today is to not let clutter build up, it is a lot harder to organize a lot of clutter than is needful. Less is really more, more time and energy for more important things, like crochetting, hiking, making soaps, just anything, clutter means you have to clean all day just about everyday, and rarely does it even look like you have done anything.
I can forget at times, especially as my life is mostly based on cleaning, chores and not a lot else.
I wanted to go find a job today outside the house, but it does not look like that will be possible, it is getting later and later.
Right now I am taking a break as I try to think what to do about the mess all over the house. I have come to the conclusion that we have way too many clothes. There is no place to neatly put everything. At least that I can find at the moment.
Anyway, I'll work on getting this room cleaned up as best as possible and organized. Then I need to disinfect the bathroom, (translation, scrub it with lysol or something like that). The bathroom is really not that bad, I just need to reclean the tub, change the trashbag, then sweep and mop the floor. And make sure the shelves are neat and orderly. Then that's done, that should not take more than fifteen to twenty minutes. (It'll take at least that long because I like to dry the tub and floor after cleaning.) I cleaned the sink, and toilet earlier.
After I get that done I need to get the hallway on this end cleaned and cleared. That should not take but a couple of minutes, it just really needs to be swept, and mopped.
The weather is supposed to turn off bad, so I would like to get the house cleaned up before that happens.
I also need to get the porches cleaned off and make sure there is nothing hanging around outside. (Sometimes trash will get scattered around when it's left in bags on the porch overnight, because of animals.) So I need to check that. Before the weather turns off bad, it is supposed to start raining with a chance of sleet later today, right now it is sunny, but very cold.
I feel like all I ever have to talk about is cleaning but I suppose that is normal as that is what I do a lot of.
Anyway, I am besides cleaning everything in the house today, I want to try to get the afagan I am working on finished. I am making it with RedHeart yarn it is a light pink. I believe it will be very pretty when it's done.
I will be putting that into the sell box, I want to make four pink ones, using the shell stitch, then I want to make four or five baby blue ones using the same stitch. (I would like to try to have maybe twenty baby afagans made by the end of March). Plus a lot of other things.
I am hoping that if I can get enough things made through to the fall that later on this year I will try to sell the things I have made. But first I would like a variety of things made, so I am thinking baby afagans, potholders, dishrags, child's purses, scarves, and if I can get the house straightened up I would like to make some baby quilts too.
Well I need to get started again, I have only made this mess in this room worse because I sat everything or almost everything on the bed. But I had to get everything where I could reach it.
After I get this room finished I will be able to get the other rooms done easier I hope.
If I get done everything I need to today, then tomorrow after I do what cleaning I need to do, I want to try and make some soaps with the kit I bought, it should not be too hard, as it is a melt and pour type soap. I am thinking that that I want to make some decorative soaps to set on the countertop. That everyone can also use.
Well, I am not getting anything done so I need to go, I'll try to come back later, if we have found the camera I'll post pictures of the baby blanket I have made and one of the one I am working on.

I forgot to add...
At least one helpful tip,
So the helpful tip of the day is to always when possible make two meals at once. Then freeze one for another day, when you may not have as much time. Then cook the other one.
If you can do this for a week you'll have one week of pre-made meals in the freezer. So that is what I did today.
Now I really have to go because the house needs to be organized, I am thinking I will look into buying a few more organizational items, like plastic dressers or something to put in the closet or under the bed, just so as I can get this mess made neat.
Maybe I'll post before and after pictures.

Well today we did not get started as early as we needed to, but at least we did get our walk in.
Tomorrow morning I may try to take some pictures to post. We had a rather nice walk.
Then we went to the store to get more calling cards, and the fixings for meatloaf.
I made two meatloaves, one is in the oven cooking, the other one is in the freezer for another time.
On the way to the store I worked on the baby afagan I am making, hopefully I will get that finished this week. I am hoping to make four this month to sell.
(My crochetting is not all that fast so we will see how I do with that, I may be lucky to get just one done. Especially as my hands are sore from the IV's last week.)
Anyway, in just a little bit we need to go check the mail, and do some other things too. There is always something it seems like.
I bought a couple of planners so we could keep a record of the things we get done, or need to get done, maybe that will help.
Well the email has been checked and the meatloaf is probably getting close to done.

Just made today....
Well I just made this blog today, we will see how this goes.
I do need to do some organizational things today. (translation; clean up the house)
After that I will be free to make some posts and maybe even post some pictures and helpful tips.
I know you all are a waiting some tips and helpful advice....
So the first tip of the day is to get up and get the house straightened up, cleaned up and organized so that thinking is possible. (at least that is how I can think easier, in a clean uncluttered enviroment).
So I'll be seeing you in a little bit.
